Our spice blends do not contain anti caking agents, so it will cake together from time to time depending on the mixture and moisture ratio.
The blends are perfectly fine, it just requires a little human connection to encourage it to flow freely. Think of it as adding love to your dishes.


Some of our salt blends use rice flour as an anti caking agent.


Handling time is 3 days as all orders are prepared when they are received.

The term jerk is said to come from the word charqui, a Spanish term for jerked or dried meat, which eventually became jerky in English. Another origin is linked to the jerking or poking of the meat with a sharp object, producing holes which were then filled with the spice mixture. Yet another theory is that jerk chicken is believed to have started when the Maroons introduced African meat cooking techniques to Jamaica which were combined with native Jamaican ingredients and seasonings used by the Arawak Indians.

Ingredients: organic onion powder, organic garlic powder, organic cayenne pepper, organic smoked paprika, organic allspice, salt, organic black pepper, organic red pepper flakes, organic cumin, organic nutmeg, organic cinnamon, organic brown sugar, organic thyme, organic parsley.
