Tapenade

Ingredients


1 1/2 cups pitted black olives

1/2 cup pitted green olives

1/3 cup olive oil

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon fresh lemon zest

1 tablespoon drained capers

2 garlic cloves

1 teaspoon fresh thyme, or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Pinch coarsely ground black pepper


How The Alchemy Happens

1. Place the olives, olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, drained capers, garlic, thyme, and black pepper in a food processor.


2. Process until all the ingredients are finely chopped, but not completely pureed.


3. Top with a drizzle of olive oil.


4. Enjoy!
